MYANMAR COFFEE: QUALITY FOR ALL

The Lady Specialty Coffee produces specialty Myanmar Arabica cupping at 85+.

We were established in 2017 in Ywa Ngan, an exceptional coffee producing region in southern Shan State.

We only work with female coffee producers – 400 of them, in fact.

Some of our lady farmers are part of the Pa O, one of the smallest minority groups in Myanmar. We also have Danu ethnic farmers too.

Our ethos is about quality, and being fair to farmers, ethical, and innovative. We make sure farmers are paid what they deserve and take gender equality very seriously.

We work in partnership with our women farmers to constantly improve coffee quality through training, GAP farming, and improvements in science and technology.

The Lady’s owners and founders are both qualified coffee cuppers and processors. Throughout each harvest, we can taste, test, and adapt our processing to draw out the best flavours of our coffee. We are always learning and developing our techniques, growing, and changing, just like the beans.

The results speak for themselves. In just five years, our operation has achieved cupping scores of 85+ with stunning flavours. We started with 50 lady farmers, now we have 400.

Our aim is to produce high quality specialty coffee using innovative techniques and have them served all over the world.

Value proposition: We help the Ywa Ngan coffee community with a 20% profit share for every quality product we sell.
